As prices rise in the UK and working from home becomes more common, many Britons are dreaming of relocating to Europe.

The expert property team said that Tuscany, one of Italy’s most breathtaking regions, is proving very popular among British buyers.

Tuscany is a diverse region that encompasses Florence, the Apennine Mountains, Elba’s beaches and Chianti’s olive groves and vineyards.
The birthplace of the Renaissance, many of Italy’s most iconic artists including Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello lived there.

Christopher added: “Prospective buyers can select from beautiful villas and farmhouses, historic townhouses, or contemporary apartments.
“Prices fluctuate according to location, size and condition, with popular areas like Florence or the Chianti region demanding higher prices.”
British expats can expect houses to be expensive in some of the region’s most touristy areas, while rural areas are likely to be cheaper.
Tuscany is one of the more expensive areas to buy property in Italy while Abruzzo and Basilicata are the cheapest regions according to property experts idealista.
Italy’s most expensive region for property is Veneto in northeastern Italy, home to Venice, Verona and Padua.
